Dr. Gomez Freeman's holds a Masters degree from UCSD in clinical trials and is fellowship certified from UCSD in corneal diseases. She has worked at and been on the staff of the Barraquer Eye Institute in Colombia and also worked at the Castroviejo Institute in Spain and the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
She specializes in visual evaluations of patients with ophthalmic diseases and is trained in refractive surgery as well as in general ophthalmology. She is fluent in Spanish, English and French, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, International Society of Refractive Surgery, American Society of Optometry and Ophthalmology, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS).
